I’m gonna say doubtful on the level being above 10″ this weekend. Not enough rain over the last few days, and doesn’t look like enough in the forecast for today either. However, today’s weather will ultimately tell the story. Plus, the last time I dissuaded some IL boaters from driving too far, we got enough snow/warm temps to bring it up nicely. So, just keep an eye on the weather.

for what it’s worth, Di posted a FB picture of the river at Fisherman’s earlier today – it’s still frozen over. May not be good to go until Wednesday :/ Hike may still be beautiful tho. Muddy, but almost always worth it. Cheers!
