  Dave from Chicago here, I’m watching levels and rain forcasts and I think it looks likely, but I’m not a regular. Any predictions for the weekend levels? Over 10″?

  I’m gonna say doubtful on the level being above 10″ this weekend. Not enough rain over the last few days, and doesn’t look like enough in the forecast for today either. However, today’s weather will ultimately tell the story. Plus, the last time I dissuaded some IL boaters from driving too far, we got enough snow/warm temps to bring it up nicely. So, just keep an eye on the weather.

  Absolutely watch the weather and the rainfall! Luckily this very MWA page has two GREAT gauges on it!
  
  Yes the pump has been primed, so any rain should have a positive affect on the river level.

  2.6 in and falling, OK but LOW boating today and and barely runnable Monday without more rain.
