Float trip for MWA Picnic Saturday 12 Sept

  Assuming Black River is our best option (45 minutes from Silvermines). Based on river access points, it looks like we’ll need to work with a livery/campground to have a 5-6 mile float. Most places will charge $15-20 for portaging private boats; $40-46 for canoe rental. Looking for recommendations & thoughts. Please weigh in here.
  
  FYI – In 2004 & 2005, the MWA Picnic was at BearCats on the Black River.
