Race Registration is now open, for a low-key Saturday-only event this year. Several Downriver options – Upper for Novices, Lower for Advanced, 10K (Roselle-D) for the hearty (or foolhardy). Schedule may change a bit before or on race day so be flexible.

The race committee met last week on a Zoom call. Participants were concerned that volunteer recruiting will still be the major issue with Covid still a factor. Assuming Black River is our best option (45 minutes from Silvermines). Based on river access points, it looks like we’ll need to work with a livery/campground to have a 5-6 mile float. Most places will charge $15-20 for portaging private boats; $40-46 for canoe rental. Looking for recommendations & thoughts. Please weigh in here.

Yes, individual meals; no buffet. The caterer is going to serve 8-10 plates at a time, and participants will come up & pick up a plate. This worked fine at the Clinic, when 90 people were served safely.
