      Kathy heard from Doris that river had not come up so we turned around at Festus. Saw Jojo heading down.

      Well, this paddler was definitely not aggressive enough, and I should have anticipated trouble, and worked on more peel outs before suggesting ferry practice. Thanks.

      Yes, but I started wondering if they leaned upstream because when the boat turns the momentum throws them that way. We’ve all seen this, usually at the Catspaw ferry.

      We did this back in February. It was interesting to see how much area is down there, including a frisbee golf course.

      Jerry, is this averaging supposed to help correct for erratic creek flow or Summer vegetation or both or neither?
