      I am not on Facebook.  Can anyone confirm or deny Sam’s post that they have to shut down silver mines?  Have someone planning a 12hr trip to paddle the Saint this weekend.  Want to verify since this is April 1.

      Yes that is correct. According to Sam’s post, the Forestry Service is requiring them to have everyone out of the campground and picnic areas by noon today and all of the gates will be locked.

      It was indeed locked today. You can still boat however- and Millstream remains open.
