Report from the Saint (99-38-2)

For the first time in years I did not surpass 100 days on the saint! Arghhhh

Where was everyone tonight? No Swedes, no Cape people….no anyone else…the campground was completely empty.

Okay, we got there at 5 pm, saw the entire river, even last drop, was completely frozen over. We all stood by a fire until we realized our feet below the fire ring were frozen.

When we left at 10 pm it was 8 degrees, a clear sky and a pretty good wind gust. I shiver when I think about how cold it will be at 5 AM.

I am planning on the Black River tomorrow if anyone is interested.
