Report from the Saint (69-16)

Jason Bales and I enjoyed a great run on the Saint (Jerry took out at Cat’s Paw)- but instead of zero as I’d hoped, it looked like almost 3 inches when we put on (D-bridge read 0″) When we got to the figure 8 hole just above double drop, we couldn’t understand why it was washing out. Somebody, somewhere along the river got rain although not a single rain gauge showed anything. As we worked our way down river I was disappointed to find little drop too high. The bridge still read zero when I left……We must have been right on the rising water.

The water now is 70 deg. F. It feels great!
