      The good news is the water is clear and warm.

      The bad news is that there isn’t very much of it.

      very close to neg 2″ on the BNG when we left at 5 pm.

      The trail is also starting to close in, getting very bushy.

      ticks are out too.  And I wasn’t even on the trail – just hanging around the take-out (also, walking to the put-in) Tuesday.
