      this is interesting

      http://mvs-wc.mvs.usace.army.mil/realtime/precip/sf_cum.htm

at 6;30 am, it said Farmington received 0.37 in past 6 hrs.

radar shows this was a non-event.

if true, this much rain in 6 hrs, would put the river over the big highway bridge.

I wonder if a tree hit the gauge? handful of early morning people using the gauge for a toilet?

Anyway, expected rainfall between now and Wednesday night means we should be on the river again this week.

      Happy July.  Thank you Lord

There was a glitch in that Web page this morning. When I checked it read 8.32 inches in Farmington in the last 6 hours. It now says 0.53 inches in the last 6 hours. The National weather service page also shows accumulation at 6:55 this morning of 0.47 inches.
