PLAN FOR SETUP for Thursday & Friday: We are still going to meet at shed at 9 to pick up gear, and then start setup at 10am THURSDAY 3/16 at Millstream Gardens. Meet at Pavilion for assignments.
Because the rain is coming & the river will rise, we are going to hang gates & poles, and pull them over towards river right, giving us enough string to pull them back to final position on Friday or Saturday morning. We will also pull the poles all the way up so they won’t be in the way when the river rises. We’ll skip gates 3 & 17 until Friday, as one wire needs repositioning & 17 may be upstream or downstream.
On Thursday we’ll also deploy the rest of the race gear & hang tarps & put up the tent.
On Friday at 10am we’ll address gates 3 & 17, and make adjustments as necessary.
After that on Friday we’ll put up warming tents near the Pavilion
