A great time was had by all. Glasses were sold-out, Schlafly beer was sold-out, lots of fun. Swing by Alpine Shop this weekend & explore sales at the Get Outside Expo, and BE SURE TO USE YOUR MWA Coupon for purchases!

The Alpine Shop is again hosting a Pint Night from 6-9 on Friday 2 March. This year the event will benefit 3 paddling groups: MWA, Team River Runner, and St. Louis Canoe & Kayak Club.
Get there early enough to get your pint glass for $10 & get 2 beers free! (they usually run out) They will have 175 glasses (total for 3 groups) this year.
Note this year the potential benefit to us is different. Instead of getting the pint night profits, now we are going to get an MWA-specific flyer/code, and if you, your friends & your family all use it for purchases at the Alpine Shop during the month of March 2018, MWA gets a % of the sales back.
SO – three things: (1) if you are about to buy a bunch of gear at the Alpine Shop, please defer your purchases until you get the flyer! I think they’ll have it for us in the next day or so. (2) be sure to use the MWA flyer! (and tell friends too). (3) Shop at the Alpine Shop for March!
We can use some additional volunteers to help pour beer, give out wristbands, take payments, etc. Let me know.
ALSO – there will be a separate post, but we also need volunteers to staff an info table for a few hours Saturday-Sunday for the Get Outdoors Expo.

Sunday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM –
2:00 PM – closing – Chris Matsuno
PS: Bring your own chair; the Alpine shop does not have any to spare.
