Who’s all in this year? JoJo and Renee S, Derrick W., I know. Andy C, Di, Dan F, I think? Well, whoever is racing… it looks like you all are going to ride a cresting river down to St. Charles with mild June-like temps! The mighty MO is predicted to rise 9 feet in St. Charles by Thursday! Sounds like ultimate race conditions! Good luck to all!

The results show a Men’s Tandem team as already finishing, with a time of 37:11. That is hard to believe – but the race tracking map shows their boat now in Valley Park, so either they took a wrong turn onto the Meramec, or they are at home already!
There are several boats past Herman already. Most haven’t reached Jeff City yet.
First recognized names on the list are Diane (22nd), then Derrick (24th), then Dan F (42nd), Jojo & Renee (109) & Neuberts at 225th. Andy is listed in a mixed tandem as a DNS.
There appear to be about 300 folks still in the race. About 450 registered but lots of DNS & DNFs (missing early cutoffs maybe?)

Diane has moved up to 16th, and passed Klondike an hour+ ago. Estimated finish time about 10 am today. Should finish as 2nd place in Women Solo. Derrick is right behind her, now 17th, and should finish 10-10:15.
Dan checked out of Hermann at 7:20 am, is is 9-10+ hours from finish. Currently 47th.
Jojo & Renee have moved up to 70th, and checked out of Jeff City at 10:40PM last night. They should be hitting Hermann any minute, unless they made a stop. They were an hour behind the 1st place Tandem Women.
There is an Alpine Shop dragon boat at 140th, including Teri Rudelic & Perry Whitaker. Left Jeff City at 6:40 am today.
Neuberts now 177th, checked in at Jeff City at 4 am.

Diane finished at 10:45 am, total time 51:45, 2nd in the Women’s Solo class. Congrats Di!
Derrick finished 2 minutes ahead of Diane, 8th in Men’s Solo class. Congrats Derrick!
Jojo & Renee have cleared Herman at 10:03 am, 1:12:00 behind the leading Womens Tandem, and appear to be moving quickly down the river.

Di, Derrick, and a paddle boarder teamed up at Herman to go as a group facing a big (for Mo) barge 2×6. This barge was in Berger Bend- a tricky place. All made it thru, but don’t know of the paddle b’ers finish. Derrick and Di continued together to finish. Great effort from them both! Di’s 12th, record, finish.

A SUPr finished about 40 minutes after them.
Dan Frisch finished at 4:07 pm, 57:07, 17th in Mens Solo & 37th overall.
Jo & Renee finished about 8:10 pm, 60:09, for 2nd in Womens Tandem & 76th overall.
Alpine Shop dragon boat passed Klondike at 8:44 pm; should finish tonight.
Neuberts passed Hermann at 7:25 pm; should finish in the morning sometime.

Neubert Mixed Tandem team finished just before 1 pm, with a time of 76:55, 208th overall & 11th Mixed Tandem.
Just noticed our SUP friends Shane & Daren were in a 5 person Voyager canoe, and finished at 12:42 pm, 2nd overall in the class.
There are about 75 more people remaining in the race, all through Hermann or Klondike. (meaning 9-15 hours to go – not sure what the cutoffs are)
