Is it broken? Castor, stouts, and little saint is running. Is there a chance rain only hit them? Was hoping to paddle tomorrow.

Sorry Dan, I don’t think the Saint will be running from the Saturday evening rain. There actually was a flash flood warning for central Ste Gen and part of St Francois counties but it missed the Saint watershed. It’s possible the Castor could be running right now (need a headlamp). Castor, Lower Stouts, and Little Saint are all keyed to the Little Saint gage on the AW website since it is (currently) the best indicator for runnability of these streams. But we can always hope ….

Going Straight up in August! I won’t be able to enjoy it – but get out there this afternoon or tomorrow if you can. Probably will drop fast.

how high did it get?
when did the water get to D bridge?
I was at the farm with grandkids Sunday afternoon and one of the “isolated, scattered showers” dropped over an inch of rain in about 45 minutes. when I left, some of the highway was barely damp. (???)

Good trip today. A bit of a blunder on Big Drop, but overall a good time!

Jerry, when I got off the water the gauge was around 8 or so.

Had a great two runs today! Got there at 1pm and it had reached MS but not D. When we got on the water at 3pm it was about 3″ and I think the highest we saw it was 8″. Nice clear water on a beautiful day. God answered my prayer last night
