The river is still holding at -6″ but the important thing is that silvermines is now closed. All gates are locked, including the one leading to the parking lot. Jim says he will reopen if possible if the river comes up.

With regards to leaving a car at the bottom that is…otherwise we hoof the trail?

Jim says that he will open the gate to the parking lot if the river comes up. I should have asked him what “Up” means also.

I also thought about asking for a key….but realized I didn’t want the responsibility.

If gate closeg park along the road from Turkey Creek road and back. Don’t block the road itself (for easy turnaround).
