it was good to boat again today.
FWIW: chuck has taken a new protégé, (think Chris A or Jason B)
-no roll, big attitude- he managed to catch every eddie in the Z route today
Chuck has been working with him and his skills have improved greatly in the last couple months
He also has a job that has allowed him to boat a lot with chuck in the last month and a half.
Never underestimate the newer boaters.

Very happy to report that I put goggles on Cody right after Jerry left, so he could actually see what the paddle blade was supposed to do. First attempt he had the boat 90 degrees but fell back. second attempt he got a beautiful solid roll, and he then proceeded to literally roll down the river- stopping to roll at every available deep spot. I think he counted 25 rolls in a row.
Cody Maple- new boater from Farmington- ready for it all.-
