Visitor wanting to paddle

  A good friend of mine, James Ratchford, is driving from flagstaff to buffalo ny and will be passing near the st. Francis river. He is an experienced class 4 5 boater and is prepared for sub freezing temps. Is the st. Francis running. Is there anybody that he can paddle with? Not sure if he will be there tomorrow. He is waiting to be approved for the message board.

  The river is too frozen right now. I’d expect it to be runnable by Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope that still works for his schedule.
