    Harvesting Swag for the Volunteer/Paddler’s raffle works best with a team. Diane McHenry has agreed to stay on as the local solicitor for Ironton and Fredericktown. Linda Tansil and I are moving on. The cool thing about this position is that most of it’s done during the doldrums of winter. If you have excellent computer skills or plenty of time to cut and paste into emails, this is the job for you! And this volunteer position can be performed anywhere on the planet, as long as you have internet access, so you don’t even have to live in Missouri to accept ;’}

    Last year, Linda filled out the forms and sent the emails and, due to the fear that her cats would eat them, I collected the donations and posted them on the message board. Diane McHenry solicited the local businesses and many of you also donated items.

    So, who’s stepping up to the plate for this 2018 MWA race position? We have everything ready to hand over to you, so you can get an early start!

    Best to start this effort soon (some very good donors require significant lead time).

    About 100 days to go.
