Jim said the D bridge gage was negative 8 inches this morning.
Rain in the upper watershed may(?) bring it up later today. I’ll call him again around noon.
I’ll email the USACE to let them know about Roselle gage not working.

Thanks John–I was wondering if I made the right decision; good to know I did. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for more rain today!

I want to thank Jim and Doris for being our eyes on the river for us. They are a treasure for us boaters

the Roselle gauge and the reading at the top of this page just reactivated at 1 pm
I called Jim, he said the d-bridge reading was neg. 6 at 1;15 this afternoon. He also stated that his rain gauge yesterday only received 1/4 + inch of rain, but this morning, he has received almost an inch? based on average time from roselle to d-bridge, should be good level this evening. hopefully tomorrow??? I hate to bother Jim and Doris a lot, if anyone is in the area tonight, you should post levels.
thanks

I’m in for tomorrow if it looks like we’ll have a plus level. If not, back to the garage cleaning job!

great day! 3 of us got to boat , when we took off, the level at D was 4 inches.
as one of our group was surfing double drop, he was looking upstream into the bright sun, and the 2 of us that were above the drop watched an eagle fly from downstream right over the surfers head. it was max of 20 feet above him, and a picture would have made the cover of any boating or outdoor magazine. most cool.
have fun today
