When we left at 8 pm the river was at 0″ and rising. We put on at MS at about 2″. Seemed deeper as we worked our way down to Turkey Creek, but we definitely caught the river just before D bridge pulling out at -2″, 15 minutes later at 0″.

There is a huge difference between a full moon (none tonight due to deep cloud cover) and headlamps. A slight fog didn’t help either. But 60+ degrees F was appreciated.

Rechecking at MS on the way home, it was still only 2″….so I’m not sure what happened.

The river will be runnable tomorrow.

It’s now too low. I got a report that Bismarck area got 2.5 inches of rain. I thought, if true, that rain would be at D by now.

I would keep an eye on the gauge but I cannot verify Bismarck rain.
