Opportunities to serve the whitewater community

The current MWA officers/Board 2-year terms expire in September 2021, and this is your opportunity to serve!  MWA officers include President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Float Director.  FYI – appointed/volunteer positions include Race Director (Aldara Henderson in 2022), Clinic Director (Jo Newbold in 2022), Safety Coordinator, Training Coordinator, Membership Coordinator,  and Picnic Coordinator, (plus currently un-filled positions like Conservation and Newsletter).   There are always other event-organizing options like Training classes, the Pool Slalom, the Xmas Party, and most importantly paddling trips (Trip Leaders).

Several people have already expressed interest in serving (or continuing to serve), but this is your chance to volunteer to help steer the organization in the future.

There is an immediate need for a Picnic Coordinator for September 2021.
