      Made a trip to the Oklahoma City whitewater center last weekend. The place is great! It’s like a ski resort for kayaking. The people couldn’t have been nicer. When I first got there I was told they were closed to the public. They were just running rafts. Then one of the managers said go ahead , we will let you go. Guess I looked like a experienced boater. The rapids were challenging.  Nice play waves at the bottom. Make a run . Ride the conveyor back up to the top. I never got bored. I did get worn out. Check it out if you are heading out west. You can also camp there. Open to public from Memorial Day to Labor Day 7 days a week .

      Thanks for the trip report and recommendation. I plan on heading out there this summer. Looking forward to it.
