The nominations for the officer positions are in. They are as follows:
President: Scott BeckerVice-President: Open
Treasurer: Steve Janney
Secretary: Eileen Lenkman
Float Director: Open
If anyone is interested in serving in either of the open positions, please let me know before the annual meeting at the picnic. Similarly, if anyone is interested in running against any of the nominees above, please let me or anyone else on the board know before the Friday before the picnic (Sept. 8).
If there are no contested positions, the slate of candidates will be accepted by acclamation at the picnic. Attempts to fill any open positions by the new board after the annual meeting, as allowed by the club by-laws.
We will probably have the meeting Saturday night, as that seemed to work pretty well last year.
