After a short hiatus the MWA Spring River Trip returns this year on June 3,4,5.
The Spring River is a gentle, low-adrenaline, whitewater river with miles of clear, cold water and gentle ledges creating play spots and eddies. It is a class II river ideal for those looking to try whitewater in a non-threatening level. It is a step down from the Saint in challenge, for sure.
Rustic cabin with 4 people(2 in a full bed, 2 in solo bunks) are $30 per night. Bring your own linens.
Tent camping (water and electric available on site) is $16/night.I am thinking Saturday night dinner should be a potluck Mexican theme. Bring your best salsa, taco makin’s and Corona. What’s left over goes in the morning omelettes.
