Hi everyone,
The SLU Kayak Club is alive and well, just restricted to St. Louis City and County for the time being due to University Restrictions. We are one of the few clubs on campus able to have in-person activities leading to attendance numbers we have never seen before. We max practice attendance at 10, and we have had full practices since August when we started.
We are adding a third practice to accommodate everyone interested in the club. We have an instructor for our Monday practices, but we do not have an instructor for Saturday practices. I have been instructing almost all of them, but the students would benefit from having some outside instruction. The students in practice range from their only experience being a family canoe trip to being at practice for several weeks on the verge of getting their roll.
The practices we need an instructor for are:
Saturday 1-2:45PM and 3-5PM
