      Boating this week at Howell, who wants to go and when? My boat and gear are loaded!

      What are good levels these days?  I’ll be back next weekend and might consider bringing a playboat if it’ll be in.

      Just seeing this. sorry for the delay. 25 to 26 feet on the St. Charles gage is real good. I would call it a medium-size wave with plenty of retention and some green parts. (the river went thru this level sunday thru the night.) 22ft the wave is, in my opinion, real big. Circa six to seven feet from trough to crest. A hole, however, forms behind the wave, though I don’t think it is a keeper hole. It is all washed out now. River needs to drop.

      Thanks for the info Joe.  Looks like it’ll be too high the whole time I’m in town.  At least it looks like a Saint run might be a possibility.
