We will be watching the eclipse 2 miles down from highway 30 on a huge gravel bar opposite Brush Creek. The field of view is completely unobstructed. I bought 30 eclipse glasses many months ago and will probably have 8 or 9 left. You can park at river rats for $5. Afterwards we will continue 7 miles to river round take-out.

8 or 9 people are invited.

I’m sure everyone was in a good place…ours was fantastic! No clouds. We popped the corks about 1 pm as the sun went to a tiny crescent. It was eerie in the darkness, and the sun’s corona was fantastic- but what impressed me the most was the “diamond ring” that first little bit of sun popping out- it looked like a laser.

Hope one and all got to see and enjoy this.
