Now master the Pressure Roll! I got one of those right above Nantahala Falls trying to ferry from river right to Truckstop Eddy on river left!! I missed my ferry and flipped, then missed my first combat roll attempt (probably had my head up!) and discovered as thing I called the Pressure Roll! That’s the roll you get when you know exactly what’s immediately downstream and you  REALLY DON’T want to go through it upside down!! Pressure Roll!! I rolled up on my 2nd attempt, just doing what I’d done in the pool textbook style and I rolled up right on line to run Nantahala Falls, but upright! Whew!
