Anyone ever paddle Citico Creek in TN.  It is 11 miles north of the Tellico.  It really only runs when the Tellico is at 3 ft or over.  I am planning trip to the Tellico late April with my son Sam.  I want to be prepared if the Tellico is too high.

      Thanks, Will

Only once, during Ain’t Louie Fest. It was low, but fun. I remember – Pigs in Space, or something along those lines. Ask Eli, he is quite familiar I believe. Are you FB friends ? He is MWA affiliated. Juss friend him. Eli Helbert.

Fun creek!   If the upper section is too much for Sam, you can run the lower section which is also quite fun.  It runs along the road, so you can put in/take out where ever you want.  There is a bit of deadfall in the river, so you can drive and road scout ahead of time… Also there is a low head dam that should be portaged on the lower section.   If you run Pigs In Space rapid, please report!  it is a bizarre rapid and the name fits it, ie, where is the line? ha!
