had a great day on the river 10/28. I walked the trail . the section 0f the trail between turkey creek and mud creek has been revised. most of it is now higher up and narrower. It also has a number of rocky areas although now marked as a mountain bike trail these areas would be beyond my capability to ride. there is at least one place that I do not think handle bars would fit between trees found a hen of the woods and shaggy mane mushrooms on my walk up to the put in. planning to boat again tomorrow. the trees along the river seem to be near peak fall colors. Just beautiful. will be at takeout about noon.
