The winner of the Pyranha Kayak was Terry Edwards, a friend of Jerry Schafroth’s wife (who sold her the ticket).
The winner of the Old Town Discovery Canoe from the Alpine Shop was Jason Robinson. (Does that make two winners from Perryville?)
Thanks everyone for buying tickets. FYI – next year tickets will probably be mailed out to MWA members for your convenience, but still be available for everyone to order from the MWA Store.
Odds are great to win a kayak, canoe, or both. Grab a packet of tickets at the Sales Table during the races. Enter & win!
New for 2018 – we aren’t going to do a mass mailing of Kayak & Canoe tickets this year. Too many were getting throw away, and we don’t want to waste paper (or money)!
Instead, you can order the number of packets you want directly from the MWA Store, and we’ll mail them to you, with return instructions. Then you can buy or sell them, and return the filled-in tickets & money, as usual.

Tickets will be mailed out until the week before the races. You can also pick them up at meetings, the river, set-up, and at the races. Just look for your friendly Race Committee member.

Please make sure raffle tickets are completely filled out. Names, phone numbers and emails make it easier to get in touch with the winners. Please return the filled-out ticket stub(s) and any unsold tickets, along with a CHECK (please no cash) made payable to the Missouri Whitewater Association for the sold tickets to:
MWA Raffle Coordinator, 830 Wellesley Place Dr., Chesterfield, MO 63017
Sold and unsold tickets should be mailed back prior to March 9, 2018, or you can bring them to the Sales Table at the races, leaving them either in the hands of Cathy McCredie or a Sales Table worker. For more tickets or questions, contact Cathy at raffle@missouriwhitewater.org
