The Alpine Shop will hold their “You Can Paddle Day” this Saturday. See the link for more information. This might be a good opportunity for you Clinic students to get out on the water in a boat (although I’m guessing most boats won’t be whitewater boats).

The event runs from 10 am to 3 pm, and will be held this year at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary, at the Audubon Center, 301 Riverlands Way , West Alton, MO 63386.
There is a $20 registration charge, but there are gifts & snacks & beer. If you take your own PFD & paddle, they say there is no wait for boats.
If you miss the 12 May event, you’ll have another opportunity on 9 June. Great Rivers Greenway and Terrain Magazine are hosting the 3rd Annual Life Outside Festival on June 9, 2018, from 10am to 4pm at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Activities there include tree climbing, kayaking lessons, birdwatching, rock climbing, standup paddle boarding, nature crafts, walks, bicycle rides and much more.
