Has anyone paddled white water in the Adirondacks?  Please give me the names of some good II-III runs.

      Richard,

Not all of these are really in the Daks but it should give you a start

      Salmon River (Pulaski)

Fish Creek (Taberg) at low flows

      E. Branch Sacandaga below Griffin at low flows

      Sacandaga

      West Canada Creek

Middle Branch Moose River (1 class IV)

      Middle Moose River

Some of these have damn releases depending on when you’re there.

The Hudson is a long day especially if you do the Indian down. Anything under 4′ on the gauge is pretty low. Hitting the bubble when it releases is key. If you want to go farther north the Saranac is also a great option, if there’s water.
