Lots of talk about long and short boats –
I have loaned out a “super sport”. I have another one that I could loan out.
There are other “SS” and “RPM’s around the boating community that qualify as ‘short boats’ for downriver races.
“SS” measured at 9ft. 10inches -“RPM” is hair shorter. Both are fast boats with the right operator.
(Chuck could possibly take a “sub 7” downriver faster than some new boaters could take a “dancer”)
If a person borrows a boat, make sure you fit. Old school boats were narrow, with smaller cockpits.
Oh yea, how many “dancers” and “pirouette” boats will come out of storage?
Find one and compete against your ‘friends’
just my thoughts as I leave.
