      So is there a pool class or open pool time this Jan.?  My 16-year old step-daughter is interested and I’m eager to help teach her.  Thanks.  Sally

      Hope this helps, I found this under instruction.

       

      When: Sunday evenings for eight weeks, starting January 4, 2015, through February 22, 2015.
      Who: Open to both whitewater and sea kayaks. All are welcome.

      Registration Required – two time slots are available:

      • 4:00 to 6:00 pm. For more information or to sign up, contact Mike Leininger at mtlein71@yahoo.com.
      • 6:00 to 8:00 pm. For more information or to sign up, contact Craig Heaton cheatoc@gmail.com (314-960-6746).

      Where: South County YMCA, 12736 Southfork Rd. 63128

      Cost: $25 for a single whitewater kayak or $40 for a family or sea kayak. Also, for insurance purposes, you need to be an ACA member. (If you are not currently an ACA member, you can purchase a membership by joining the MWA or you can purchase a 6-month ACA membership for $15.)
