VERRY IMPORTANT CONSERVATION STUFF!! 😁 On Saturday August 26 the MWA will meet at the Sappington bridge access in Bourbon, Mo. for the 56th annual Operation Clean Stream. The MWA has been participating since we were the Meremac canoe club so at least in 40 of those years we were there. I don’t know about anyone else but I think that is an incredible legacy.
Here are the details – The plan is to meet at Sappington bridge at 9am to run shuttle and try to be on the water by 10 (ish) Make sure you get with me to get your t-shirts and supplies and fill out your waiver. Afterwards we plan on doing a BBQ for our team (thanks to Mark Wehking and Gary for suggesting and planning this!)
