There will be a kayak raffle again this year. Thanks again to Slim Olsen for arranging the boat raffle, and to Bill Eades & Pyranha for the boat selection. Sorry, no canoe. If anyone is interested in arranging a canoe for the raffle for next year, please step up and volunteer to do that with next year’s race committee – they will be delighted to have your help.
In another week or so, a mailing will go out with kayak raffle tickets, instruction letter, and a volunteer/paddler give-away solicitation letter (the usual stuff). We’ll be using the current list of MWA members (including lifetime members). If you want a packet, please renew now or update your mailing address (if it has changed) via your on-line message board profile.
There will also be raffle tickets available at meetings and at the races of course.
On-line race registration should also be available in another week or so.
