      Canoeing Friends,

I know quite a few of you spend time on the Buffalo River and I’m wondering if you could recommend a shuttle service for me? I’m toying with the idea of an extended freeze float this winter. While there are a lot of outfitters in the area, few seem to serve the off-season. Any ideas besides B.O.C.?

      Thanks!

      Rory

love the buffalo. usually do our own shuttle. i have only used boc once for car shuttle, and it was during the spring, and expensive. buffalo river canoes is a little cheaper, but closed for the season. maybe they would do it by reservation if you emailed them in advance. i would email everyone and see whos willing to do it off season by reservation.

I’ve always used theses guys. Not so much for shuttle but I’d give em a call and see. For many years we’d leave on a Thursday after work and get there late to set up camp or reserve a bunk if there was rain in the forecast. Then do a three day trip. Normally do our own shuttle. Give me a call, Rory, if you need anymore info.
