  For those who can get to Columbia on Saturday April 11th to see this film, it should be a really good one. This film documents the first full descent of the Amazon River from its most distant source in 2012. This will be followed by a question and answer session with the expedition’s leader West Hansen. With sponsorship from National Geographic, the Amazon Express team negotiated significant whitewater challenges in the upper headwaters and then transitioned to paddle down waters that develop into the largest river on earth.
