Conservation stuff! We are quickly sneaking up on the 4th annual Giving the Saint some Love clean up! Yea!
There are a couple of things I’d like to put out there but first I want to thank everyone for participating, We have people who put on their drysuits and wrestle tires out of freezing cold water. We have people who cover miles of trails, woods and roadways. The Leeker family has adopted the Roselle access and for the past 3 years has kept it clean. Last but not least are our partners and friends at the MDC and Stream Team. All of you are amazing! Without your support none of this would happen.
This year we are looking for volunteers to canoe across the river at Turkey creek and see what we can find on the other side.
We are looking for tire destroyers. To dispose of tires this year we have to cut the sidewalls off the tires to make 3pieces. We can then throw them in residential trash. An oscillating tool really does a number on them.That being said Does anyone have access to a dumpster? Maybe a business or someone with a construction company.
