TRR Southern Illinois (SO IL) “Galentine”
Save the date! Fri-Sun, Feb 13-15, 2026 “Gal-entine” Women’s event led by TRR Southern Illinois (SO IL) Chapter, at Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center (TON), for TRR’s Central Region.
Fri. 3:00 pm check-in; end Sunday 11:30 am.

- Each veteran may bring a +1 civilian women guest (eg sister, daughter, friend, etc; youth 16 and older). Cost for civilians is $96 per, due upon registration.
We will sleep in a heated lodge, have cafeteria meals and play outside, with an inside option each hour! All activities are challenge-by-choice and will likely include:
- Paddling the beautiful Cache River wetlands
- Individual High Challenges {in a harness} = Pamper Pole (Leap of Faith) & High Swing
- Yoga / stretching
- “Camping with Confidence” workshop, eg How to pitch a tent; Cooking over a fire
- Archery & atlatl
- Hiking
- Fishing
- Knot tying
- Art with nature
