MWA’s 56th annual Operation Clean Stream will be Saturday, August 26, 2023. MWA friends will meet at the Sappington Bridge access in Bourbon, MO at 9:00 am, run shuttle, and aim to be on the water by 10(ish).  That morning, meet up with Jeff Clawges to get your t-shirts and supplies and fill out your waiver.  then clean the 6+ miles between Sappington Bridge and Meremac State Park.  Afterward, we will have a BBQ for our team (thanks to Mark Wehking and Gary for suggesting and planning this!)

Please bring your own boat, larger the better, to carry items we pluck out of the river.

The MWA has been participating since we were the “Meremac Canoe Club,” so at least in 40 of those years we were on the Meremac. That is an incredible legacy.
