When the racing’s done and before we head to the Boater-Bash, it’s time for the FREE-Style Victory Lap—a full-send celebration of the day’s paddling, people, and pure fun. This is your chance to throw down one final run with style, creativity, and zero pressure. Boaters are encouraged to get weird and wonderful. Bust out those stern squirts, bow stalls, enders, loops, space monkeys, paddle spins, and any other playful, improbable, or entirely improvised moves you’ve been saving. Smiles count. Costumes count. Questionable ideas absolutely count. This lap is less about technical perfection and more about performance. Play to the crowd. Hype your line. Feed off the cheers. Audience participation is essential—because the winner isn’t chosen by judges or timers. The boater who earns the loudest cheers takes the glory. Come celebrate the river, the community, and the joy of messing around in moving water. One last lap. All the fun.Boatercross Sunday: Be at Millstream Gardens by 8amParticipating in Boatercross?
