The Missouri paddling Coalition barge was a great venue. Being on the river and the views of the Arch was a lot of fun.

Perry from the Alpine shop is trying to pull something together to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1927 Mississippi River Flood. If I heard correctly there will be other events (up?) and down the river. The 1993 flood paled in comparison to the 1927 flood. Rising Tide by John M Barry is great read. Casara talked about MWA history and the races in particular. There was a man (didn’t catch his name) filming for race documentary. Zach gave an overview for next years 60th MWA Championships.

Cherri talked about Clean Stream and the good work they do.

Joe gave an update on the whitewater park. Not sure that’s the correct term. I need to get my butt down there and check it out so I have a before and after reference.
