Well dad is not at camp to give the official report but I can promise you that there is water. On my way to Farmington this morning the river was coming up and was out of the banks. Hope you all have fun boating. Mom and Dad will be over there today and they have season passes.

Dad just called. The water is lapping over the low water bridge. They have to keep the takeout closed because there is so much sand a debris in the parking lot.

Hi. New to MO! What is the min level and above recommend for the feet over the bridge? Anyone boating this weekend? Im a fairly solid 3+ to 4 boater from WV. Lower Gauley and New River Gorge boater. Thanks!

Kevin,
Yes, people are boating this weekend! Come to the Alpine Shop in Kirkwood this evening to meet people in the Club. Its Pint Night so you buy a nice mug for $10 and get two free pours of beer.

Hi Kevin,
Just meet at D bridge around 9:45am on most normal weekends when water is flowing or post on here to see if others are meeting up. At the top right of this page, it converts the level at the D bridge so zero inches is recommended minimum, but in desperate times you can boat at -6″ or so. Above recommended would depend on skill level. Bridge level is moving pretty good, but we’ve had boaters on the river with 20ft over the bridge haha It’s going to be a great weekend.

Ah thanks! Missed tonight. My shoulder is kinda jacked up so probably won’t make it out tomorrow.

River was at 9″ at 6pm. If I would’ve planned better, it would have been a perfect night to do a moonlight paddle

Do most of the rapids have sneak routes? I really want to get on it. I think my shoulder will br alright if I don’t paddle hard. 30455022 72. Gives a call
