      Nate is on spring break, and I took off.  Anyone else going down?  Thinking 10AM, given how warm it is supposed to be, and possibly two runs.  Have to be back in Saint Louis by 7PM.

      Never mind.  We are out today, but now intend to slack Wednesday and possibly Thursday.  With more rain we will also consider creeks.

      I’m taking the truck in first thing. I should know more by 9. I doubt I can make it on Wednesday. Might be good to go on Thursday though.

      We will be going down later, to arrive at D around 2PM, making a run or two and setting up camp at Riverside for Thursday morning.

      ah, shoot.  I missed you guys! I got down to D by 1030 and waited, got up to Millstream and waited, checked D one more time…. Even got dressed and played around at the put-in while I wrestled with my own demons on whether to run it solo…Finally called it and just now heading home.  Hope you guys have a great afternoon!  It’s beautiful out there!

      Aww, Katie, back in my day, I’d have hit it solo! 🙂 Back when I was running the Saint more days a week than not, anyway.

      But at least you got your boat wet! 🙂

      Sorry we missed you Katie! My truck got fixed just in time for me to catch Bilbo and Nate. For what it’s worth, I think you made the right decision. I know it’s hard. But, as we say, the river’s not going anywhere!
