The Missouri Whitewater Association sponsors many training opportunities and events.
Every year, we host the Missouri Whitewater Championships in March on the Saint Francis river. The race brings paddlers all over the midwest to compete in downriver, slalom, boatercross and more.
One of our primary instructional opportunities is an annual spring two-day whitewater clinic for kayak, open and decked canoes, for people already possessing basic river paddling skills. The clinic is designed to introduce whitewater techniques on Class II whitewater. Learn more about the Whitewater Clinic.
