SO, it is quite a hike to the river now. The turn-off to the parking lot at the low-head dam is closed. You can park at the Route 66 bridge. But you have to hike to the river, and there is not a direct trail.

Will have two offset gates up at Mallard Lake inflow. There are a surprising number of moves to be had from these two gates!
