Saturday morning March 21\, please check in (sign a 2026 waiver) at 10:00 at the Millstream Gardens pavilion to string up the slalom gate wires and/or do the slalom practice.  No prior experience necessary with wires nor boating.\n\nBring wire cutters\, pliers\, a pocket knife\, safety glasses\, and leather gloves. If you have a pruner handy\, please bring that as well. Wear sturdy shoes for being on the rocks. Plan to wear bright clothes so you are easily seen across the river.\n\nIf you are helping for the first time\, we will coach you. We are grateful for your help!\nIf you are a returning helper and would like to work on river right or ferry string across the river\, please let the course designers (below) know ahead of time.\n\n** Paddle clinic for volunteers on four or five gates.
