									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yes, you do need a permit as it is a very commercial/crowded.  Permits are allocated by launch time to limit river crowding.  There is a website to buy permits in advance.  Have fun, it is a great river!</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It makes it a lot easier for anyone rescuing your boat if the bow is not filled with/under water.  I have the 8.1 and have playboat style stern bags in the bow.  The Mamba 8.5 has a lot of volume, and bags in the bow will save you a lot of hassle both rescuing and draining your boat.  I know some people that have used cheap beach balls in the bow.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just moved to KC from Oregon.  I like to boat up to Class III.  I know I will have a drive to get to most spots, but I am hoping there are some others near me that would like to take regular trips.  If not, advice on where the closest spots are and the best way to join organized paddles would be appreciated.</p>
